Professor Wang Weike's lecture in the 2022 "Master Teacher Lecture Hall" series started successfully

At 14:30 on May 20, the 2022 "Master Lecture Series" jointly sponsored by the School of Mathematical Sciences and the Institute of Applied Systems Analysis of Jiangsu University started on schedule at Cloud. The guest speaker of this lecture is Professor Wang Weike, the executive vice president of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Shanghai Jiaotong University, who is a famous research expert in the field of partial differential equations in China. More than thirty teachers and students attended this lecture, including Prof. Zhang Zhitao and Prof. Wang Jun from Jiangsu University. The report was hosted by Dean Zhang Zhitao of the Academy of Mathematical Sciences.

    Prof. Wicker Wang gave a wonderful lecture on "Global existence of solutions to the fully parabolic repulsive keller-Segel systems in R3". Firstly, he introduced the famous keller-Segel convergence model in biomathematics, reviewed some classical results of the keller-Segel model and thus introduced the model of his problem, then he introduced his relevant research results and the local nonlinear dissipation mechanism of the problem under study, and explained the main difficulty of the research - the existence of the shoot structure. Finally, he introduces the key points of the study, the main ideas and a brief proof framework.

     Professor Wang used vivid language to explain the keller-Segel model in biomathematics and related research ideas, reflecting his profound mathematical skills. His informative, well-organized and rigorously argued report aroused great interest and attention of the students and teachers present.

    After the presentation, Prof. Wang gave patient and detailed answers to the questions that everyone was concerned about. President Zhang Zhitao made a concluding speech on the lecture.
