On the morning of September 11, invited by the Institute of Applied Systems Analysis of Jiangsu University, Prof. Wisheng Niu from Anhui University gave a lecture entitled "Quantitative homogenization of multi-scale problems revisited" in our college. The lecture was hosted by Professor Wang Jun, Vice Dean of School of Mathematical Sciences, and teachers and graduate students of nonlinear analysis and related fields attended the lecture.

From the practical background of the multiscale homogenization problem, Prof. Wisheng Niu introduced the development process and the classical methods for studying the dynamical properties of the solution of the scattering operator equation with oscillation coefficients, focusing on the recent results and research ideas of the multiscale homogenization problem.

After the presentation, Prof. Niu Weisheng gave patient and detailed answers to the questions that everyone was concerned about. Prof. Wang Jun made a concluding speech on the lecture.
