At 4 pm on October 12, the 2021 "Famous Teachers' Lecture Hall" jointly organized by the School of Mathematical Sciences and the Institute of Applied System Analysis of Jiangsu University opened in the cloud as scheduled. In this issue, Professor Fengyu Wang from the Applied Mathematics Center of Tianjin University is invited. More than 130 teachers and students including Professor Zhitao Zhang, Professor Jun Wang, Associate Professor Zhiyan Shi, Professor Lihu Xy of the University of Macau, Professor Fuke Wu of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Professor Fubao Xi of Beijing Institute of Technology, Associate Professor Yulin Song of Nanjing University, Professor Longjie Xie of Jiangsu Normal University, etc. participated in this event lecture.

Professor Fengyu Wang gave a wonderful academic report on the topic of "Wasserstein limit theorems for empirical measures of Dirichlet diffusion process". Professor Wang first introduced the definition of ergodicity from the ergodicity of the Markov process. At the same time, the Riemannian manifolds with or without boundaries are selected, and the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are used to give the Wasserstein distance limit of the empirical measure of the diffusion process on the tight Riemannian manifold or the bounded region with reflection or "kill" boundaries. Finally, through an example, the convergence rate of SDEs and semi-linear SDEs is estimated, and the convergence rate of the limit in infinite dimensions is also given.

Professor Fengyu Wang gave a very detailed introduction to the Wasserstein limit results of the empirical measurement of the diffusion process, showing a profound mathematical foundation, inspiring the interest of teachers and students, and expanding everyone's horizons. After the report, Professor Wang interacted with the teachers and students present, and gave patient and detailed answers to the questions present, which benefited the teachers and students attending the meeting a lot.

The "Lecture Hall of Famous Teachers" brand activity established by the School of Mathematical Sciences aims to regularly invite well-known experts, academic authorities, and outstanding young scholars in the field to give lectures. This can continuously improve graduate students' mathematics literacy and scientific research and innovation capabilities, strengthen exchanges and cooperation between scholars, and further enhance the academic influence of the subject.
